About the Facility
This incredible, up-and-coming equestrian resort in Central Florida is in the beginning stages of an exciting new expansion! With 53,000 acres of national state forest bordering this property on 3 sides, there is endless room for exploration and adventure for both employees and guests! Currently, this facility is home to a thriving group of seasonal Combined Driving competitors and their horses, along with a routine group of equestrian guests and nature enthusiasts. Set away from the hustle of Ocala's thriving sporthorse centers, this property offers a nature-forward and tranquil setting often missing from similar venues. With upscale amenities including a fine-dining restaurant and bar, beautifully manicured pool, dozens of private cottages and tiny homes tucked amongst the oak trees, and several arenas and RV hookups scattered throughout, this is an equestrian's ideal home away from home!
Job Description
Seeking to broaden their offerings and entice a more year-round visitor, this facility is planning several improvement projects over the next 2 years - beginning with a brand new trail riding program! Having recently brought on their perfect leader for this program, we are now looking for an experienced "right hand" Guide to support their growth and development! This individual will be asked to wear a variety of hats due to the startup nature of this program, and should be comfortable with both hands-on work and office/business development activities. The team is currently consisting of the program leader and a more junior horse-care focused individual, but all AM/PM chores will regularly be shared. A day in the life can be anything from leading the trail rides and caring for the horses to putting together reports and attending meetings with their exceptional leader. All members of the team here should be prepared to maintain the property to luxury-resort standards at all times, and provide exemplary customer service as needed. Ideally this is a long-term opportunity for someone looking to grow and develop with a high quality program unlike any other here in the Ocala area!
