This beautiful, private facility just outside Charlottesville, VA is home to 4 retired warmbloods and one retired pony in need of a responsible set of eyes! With over 200 acres, 20+ useable stalls, and a spacious indoor arena, this farm was once home to a thriving warmblood breeding and H/J show facility. Now, most of the show crew has shipped down to their 60 acre facility in Ocala, leaving just a small handful of retirees on site in VA. These are homebreds who have earned a lavish retirement, and the highest standard of love and attention.
With the right staff in place, some additional horses (yearlings, TB layups, additional retirees) may make their way back to VA, but the majority of the horses in training will likely remain in Ocala. The horses lucky enough to call this operation home range from foals to Grand Prix jumpers to thoroughbreds in training all the way up to 30-40 year old retirees. The primary focus of this position as it grows will be the management of the retirees, and the early-life care and training of the young sporthorses.

Job Description 
We are looking for a compassionate, experienced equestrian to join this facility as the Trainer/Caretaker of the owner's 3 forever horses and companion donkeys. Aged in their early teens, the horses here have been trained up under Parelli principals, and do not have any competition goals or rigorous demands. This person will be responsible for exercising the horses on a daily basis in the arenas and on the trails, along with maintaining the highest standards of care alongside the rest of the 4 person team. With a typical work schedule running 7:30am-4:00pm just 4 days per week including weekends, there are generally at least 2 individuals working in the barn at all times. The ideal individual will have an easygoing personality but be accustomed to providing meticulous care for the horses at all times. This person must be well experienced in western riding principals, and have a gentle, horses-first mentality. 
There is a team of maintenance professionals who handle all facility upkeep, fence fixing, etc - and the cattle are not the responsibility of this individual beyond basic oversight in the event of an emergency. This is truly a position centered around providing the best possible care for the 3 horses on-site for the duration of their lifetimes!

This is NOT a leadership position. There will be no training or management of additional staff, and applicants MUST be willing to observe and adhere to the existing structures and quiet nature of the team here.

Job Description

Working under the overall Equestrian Director, the Therapeutic Program Director will design, fund, launch, and manage the facility's therapeutic programming. We are willing to entertain a variety of therapeutic certifications including PATH, CTRI, EAGALA, and others - and the Founder is willing to support this individual in any training/certification needed to fulfill their overall vision. This is a position for someone who is experienced, established, and knows how to build a therapeutic program from the ground up. This individual will collaborate closely with the Founder, Equestrian Director, Stable Manager, finance team, and community partners to build sustainable mounted and unmounted services.


This role will not oversee general stable operations, horse care, facility maintenance, or the broader equestrian staff. Instead, it will focus on program development and delivery, grant writing, fundraising, community partnerships, and management of professionals working within the therapeutic program.

Program Design and Execution

  • Design and implement mounted and unmounted programs serving individuals with physical, developmental, behavioral, and mental-health needs, including children, veterans, and individuals in addiction recovery.
  • Develop participant eligibility, intake, scheduling, documentation, safety, and outcome-measurement procedures.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend new or expanded services based on community needs, available funding, and organizational capacity.

Fundraising and Financial Development

Job Description
We are searching for an Associate DVM capable of growing and maintaining this elite practice under the guidance and leadership of the Primary. Currently, this practice operates both Nationally and Internationally, with the goal of this position being servicing clients full-time in the San Francisco Bay Area. This practice utilizes holistic modalities such as chiropractic, acupuncture, myofascial release, kinesio taping, laser therapy and more, along with Western Medicine practices to approach soundness and performance from the biggest picture possible. Certification(s) in manual therapy, acupuncture, or ISELP would be a major plus, and experience as a competitive equestrian or racetrack veterinarian will be looked on favorably. This position comes with the ability to attend National and International caliber competition with clientele (having previously attended the 2024 Olympic Games as both private and Team DVM!), and learn from one of the best in the business while growing a practice from the ground up!
We are anticipating this individual will ride along with the Primary DVM for the first year of employment while they are in the US for training and education purposes. Once appropriate (anticipating after first year) a secondary vehicle will be purchased and the Associate will be able to build additional clientele base. For the right individual, this role has the ability to grow into a Partnership after 3-5 years!

Note - We are aiming to have this position filled by Fall 2026, but could potentially begin someone sooner under the right circumstances.

Job Duties
- Assist the Primary DVM with lameness evaluations, diagnostic imaging, treatments, and preventative/performance-related care.

This is a well-staffed, well organized equestrian operation under the leadership of a globally accomplished FEI equestrian. Applicants will be expected to partake in the daily care chores of the horses, though they will have the opportunity to shift their focus to teaching & training as the facility matures. 
Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Stable Manager who can also take on increasing teaching/training responsibilities as the show teams develop! The ideal candidate will have a background in either the hunter/jumper or barrel racing disciplines - and will be a knowledgeable equestrian above all else. This person will be responsible for overseeing the health and well-being of all horses on site, along with the management of their support staff. This individual will be given the opportunity to grow a lesson program in their preferred discipline - and as that program grows they will be able to decrease their time spent with care responsibilities and increase their time teaching. Currently, the facility is home to 15 full-time residents, 8 of which are stable boarders, but has serious ambitions to grow in the immediate future!
