This expansive Equestrian Center outside of Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas is growing their vast program! The successful Olympic Rider, Team Coach, and Owner is looking to add a long term, consistent team member to his staff. This Facility is a well respected and world-renowned boarding and training facility for children through experienced international athletes. All the amenities you could imagine make this facility an oasis from everyday life. Local to not only beautiful wild spaces and lake views, it's a short drive to downtown and some world class dining, nightlife, and social events. Top trainers, riders, and international quality horses spend their days here. How fun does that sound? 
 
Job Description:
This facility is 100 stalls, with multiple outdoor and covered rings and looking for their next experienced beginner trainer for their academy program. This facility teaches tons of lessons on a weekly basis, upwards of 300 lessons per week!  This is a long term position. You have the ability to learn from one of the best in the industry on a daily basis. You would teach lessons as needed, travel with clients and horses to shows, and assist with daily barn functions. This is a great opportunity for those who are looking to take a step back from riding and competing, although there are many learning opportunities from Grand Prix and International caliber Dressage and Show Jumping Professionals. Additionally you would manage the annual summer camp program for local kids! 

Job Requirements

Job Duties:
Teach Children through Adult lessons on a daily Basis
Some assistance with grooming and tacking for clients
Being Kind and approachable by all clients and trainers
Attend some small local shows with lesson students on lesson or private horses
Stand on feet for long periods of time
Head and Manage annual Summer camp program for local kids
 
Job Requirements:
Experience teaching Children and Updated SafeSport Regulations
Enjoy teaching from young child to adult
Lunging experience
Proven record of teaching beginner lessons children though adults through w/t/c and crossrails/verticals to 2'6"
Friendly and Approachable
Able to Travel with clients to shows on occasion
Ability to communicate clearly and kindly
Long Term Employment
Independant and Motivated
 
Bonus but not Required:
Riding Experience
Marketing, Social Media, Client Show Experience
Summer Camp Experience
Import and Young Horse Knowledge
Ability to school or ride lesson ponies and horses (do not need to ride for this role!)
 
Benefits:
UNCAPPED earning potential if you are motivated! Can teach up to 1,000 lessons a month in high season
Healthy Commission on a per lesson basis, the more you teach the more you make! 
5.5 Day Work Week

*Housing is not provided for this role, the owner feels is it very important to have a space away from the barn to spend your time*
