Job Description
Customer Service meets Sales with this innovative equine office role! We are looking for a dynamic and driven individual who has a strong background in equestrian sports to join this growing veterinary team! This person will be responsible for sourcing and securing new business through cold-calling and personal networking while also providing and exemplary experience for current clients of the clinic. This is a Base + Bonus structure role, with a clear forward progression plan for all staff! As an employee of this clinic, you will receive consistent respect, clear expectations, and a growth-driven team to support you in your future success both inside and outside of the clinic. Ideally this person will be willing to work a Tuesday-Saturday shift, which occasional out-of-office, overnight excursions to shows/clinics with the rest of the team. Job Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions with regards to customer questions, billing, promotions, services, and products offered through the clinic.
- Engage in active sales outreach through cold-calling and personal networking to increase clinic traffic
- Follow up with warm leads generated by marketing to schedule and secure appointments for service
- Navigate the company's (hefty) records keeping system to maintain UTD records for all clients and prospective clients
- Prepare templates for health certs, lameness exams, and other medical files as needed
- Other administrative/office tasks as needed
- Assisting members of the care staff with non-horse-handling duties when necessary
