About The Facility:

This premier bay area Hunter, Jumper, and Equitation Show Facility has an all inclusive lesson and training program available to a wide variety of clients. From beginners to advanced and everywhere in between this facility fosters a family friendly environment for all. Multiple trainers, riders and staff make up this very large facility just outside of San Jose, CA. They live by three principles, the welfare, enjoyment, and safety of all riders and horses. 

About the Job:

We are searching for an experienced hunter, jumper, or equitation rider and instructor that is looking to grow their experience. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills with a team that truly supports you. Major ride time on a variety of talented horses. This position starts on the home front, teaching intro to intermediate lessons and riding client and facility horses. Developing into a show riding/assistant role at some of the west coast's biggest events. This is a role with endless opportunity for growth and development of your teaching and your riding experience. 

Our ideal candidate will have experience showing up and through the 3'6" height themselves, and experience teaching walk/trot and riding safety through summer camps and up to the 3' height. This farm is pet friendly and does provide housing! Hourly wage to start with an increase as experience and client base develops! 

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

- Personal experience and video or show record up to 3'6" height
- Experience teaching or assisting in summer camps, beginner to intermediate, or therapeutic lessons to kids and adults
- Desire to advance career in teaching and riding
- Passionate about Hunter, Jumper, and Equitation Markets
- Willingness to learn, develop, and grow personally, and professionally
- Must be a team player and great with communication
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional
