We're looking for a reliable, hard-working General Farm Hand to assist with basic property maintenance and light barn/horse support. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys outdoor work, is self-motivated, and takes pride in keeping a property looking its best.

Responsibilities:

General property upkeep and maintenance

Mowing, weed eating, and trimming

Cleaning paddocks and mucking stalls

Checking fences, waterers, and overall property condition

Assisting with basic barn duties (sweeping, feeding, tidying, etc.)

Occasionally checking in on horses (no advanced handling required)

Ideal Candidate:

Dependable and able to work independently

Comfortable around horses and farm animals (no riding or advanced handling expected)

Physically capable of outdoor, hands-on work in all weather

Takes initiative and notices when something needs doing

Prior farm or property maintenance experience is a plus but not required

Schedule & Flexibility:

Weekday hours are short and consistent ? perfect for early risers or those with other part-time commitments

Saturdays require a full-day availability

Summer months offer flexible scheduling ? once tasks are completed, you can set your own hours

Schedule:

Monday?Friday: 7:00 or 8:00 AM ? 10:30 AM

Saturdays: Full-day availability preferred

Summer Months: Flexible hours ? work can be completed at your own pace

Requirements:

Must be 18 years or older

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Comfortable working around horses and other farm animals

Able to operate basic equipment (push/ride-on mowers, weed eaters, etc.)

Physically fit and able to lift 40?50 lbs, work in various weather conditions, and perform manual labor

Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Available to work Monday?Friday mornings and full Saturdays; flexible in summer months

Basic mechanical or maintenance knowledge is a plus, but not required

Must be dependable, punctual, and take pride in a job well done
