Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, detail oriented, and motivated professional to join this unique team! If providing 5* care to a herd of retirees and rescues in a laid-back and consistent stay-at-home environment sounds pretty good, we want to hear from you! This individual will ideally be experienced in all facets of grooming, care, and basic groundwork with a passion for working with animals from a variety of backgrounds. While this is a fairly standard care/maintenance role, this facility has a strong focus on ensuring that its employees have proper work/life balance and a sustainable workload. Stall cleaning is kept light and efficient, while still ensuring top-quality living standards & facility upkeep, and much of the routine responsibilities center around the management of vet/farrier/dental schedules. For the right individual, there will be ample ground training/handling opportunities provided along with the daily care responsibilities that all team members pitch in on. 
Job Duties
- Basic stable & facility cleaning/maintenance
- Leading large groups to/from pastures as a team
- Feeding and watering daily
- Grooming with care and attention to detail
- Bandaging, administering meds as needed (Oral, IM, IV preferred)
- Holding for vet, farrier, dentist
- Working with animals on the ground (leading, tying, lunging, etc)

Job Requirements

Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in a professional grooming position (or higher!)
- Strong attention to detail and organization capabilities
- Confident handling abilities with animals from a variety of backgrounds
- Collaborative and team-oriented work style
- Genuine passion for providing top-quality care

Benefits
- 10 days of PTO, half-days on holidays
- 5 day, ~48hr work week
- Housing option provided nearby to property in brand-new 4bed house (Currently empty but will be shared with 1-2 additional team members) *not required if local*
- Hourly pay rate up to $21.00/hr DOE
- 1hr lunch break 
- Heated/Air Conditioned staff room/office 
- Possibility for a raise after 1st year!
