About the Role:
The company is a nationwide retailer of fine equine products, equestrian clothing, and gifts. They have a year long schedule of multiple shows up and down the East Coast. It is a family owned and run brand. For our purposes though, we are looking for an equine retail professional to lead this mobile tack shop at the Vermont Summer Festival. The dates for the series are July 1 - August 11, and we would need our candidate to commit to the full 6 weeks of showing, with Mondays off. Ideally our candidate will already be locally based or a HITS Vermont competitor. This is a great role for a college student who is out of school for the summer or someone who would like to pad their pocket with some extra summer cash!
Job Duties:
- Open and Close Retail Space Daily (8am until End of Showing - Approx. 5pm)
- Assist customers by offering advice, knowledge, and answering questions
- Complete purchases using a basic CRM System
