As the second member to join the equestrian promotions team, you will have an integral part in launching and shaping this program from the ground up. The primary responsibilities of this role will be sales, elite customer service, and business development - but you can expect to have a hand in marketing, experience design, internal infrastructure, and more in collaboration with the company's VP and their team in South Africa. Although the equestrian venture is new, the travel agency itself is established and proven - giving all of the excitement of a startup endeavor without the questionable job security! This is a remote opportunity, with preference given to applicants in the Southeast USA. This is intended to begin as a 30hr/week role with the ability to transition into full-time as the company grows - with travel both nationally and to South Africa anticipated.  

- Generate, qualify, and close horseback safari sales within the US markets

- Prospect and built relationships with equestrian organizations, riding clubs, breed associations, and influencers in the industry to promote the brand

- Represent the brand at tradeshows, events, and conferences

- Collaborate with the Vice President for high-stakes meetings 

- Develop and maintain a partnership pipeline with outside travel agents and equestrian media channels

- Manage every guest from inquiry through post-trip follow-up with a white-glove approach

- Built itinerary templates that can be tailored to individual guests alongside the domestic and international teams

- Handle reservation management, confirmations, deposits, payments, and pre-trip communications

- Anticipate guest needs and proactively solve issues before they escalate!

-Log all client interactions, leads, opportunities, and bookings in Salesforce with discipline and accuracy

- Build and maintain SOPs for sales and concierge functions

- Built out the internal knowledge base - internal articles, guest-facing FAQs, and onboarding materials for future members

- Design and launch a volunteer program for Americans to serve in the sables in South Africa for discounted rates

- Contribute data, insights, and feedback to inform pricing, product design, and marketing decisions

- Work alongside the Vice President and South Africa-based team to shape the equestrian experience as the lead knowledge source in the equestrian markets.

- Help design itineraries, riding programs, and experience add-ons that will enhance the trip for guests. 

- Influence the brand voice, marketing positioning, and channel strategy from the inside

We are looking for an experienced and driven Sales & Business Development Manager local to the Northeastern USA to lead this brand's expansion! This individual will be working from their home office and customer farms/event facilities around the local area to promote the brand, while also providing continued support to existing clientele. The ideal candidate should be willing and able to make regular outside sales calls within the local community and will have a large network of connections already formed in the area. These products are marketable to the veterinary community, breeding facilities, sporthorse competitors, and general companion horses - so someone with a versatile communication style would be most suitable for this role. With founders in Europe and a small leadership team here in the US, there is ample room for growth.

- Prospect, Contact, and Secure new business through all sales channels possible (cold-calling, email outreach, face-to-face interactions, tradeshows, etc)

- Promote continued engagement with existing clientele through customer service and new product promotions

- Maintain strong relationships with new and existing clientele, including routine feedback on product success

- Source opportunities for brand promotion within the local community (events, tradeshows, sponsorships, etc)

- Develop and maintain accurate records and sales pipeline within the company's CRM software

- Keep a finger on the pulse of the local markets to identify opportunities for sales and promotions with maximum ROI

Situated on ~300 acres outside of the center of Santa Fe, NM, this beautiful private ranch is complete with a 10 stall barn, outdoor riding arena, and 8 miles worth of private trails for the resident horses and their humans to enjoy! Providing a forever home for the family's 3 horses, this ranch will soon grow to include cattle grazing on the pasture land and a small armada of donkeys to protect them (NOT under the equine staff's care!). Located less than 20min from the heart of Santa Fe, this property provides a unique blend of tranquil ranch living but convenient access to civilization!

Job Description 

We are looking for a compassionate, experienced equestrian to join this facility as the Rehab Specialist of the owner's 3 forever horses. Aged in their early teens, the horses here have been trained up under Parelli principals, and do not have any competition goals or rigorous demands. Though after a particularly trying 2025, the team is in need of someone well versed in performance therapies and rehab work to strengthen the team and better the lives of the horses on-site. This person will be responsible for collaborating closely with the existing team and veterinarians to devise a rehab and ongoing maintenance plan for the horses, along with maintaining the highest standards of care alongside the rest of the team. The owner is open to exploring any devices/therapeutic modalities that this individual may be experienced with, including PEMF, Laser, Cryotherapy, myofascial release, training with a Pessoa rig, and more. With a typical work schedule running 7:30am-4:00pm just 4 days per week with schedule consisting of Weds-Saturday, there are generally at least 2 individuals working in the barn at all times. The ideal individual will have an easygoing personality and will be willing to collaborate closely with the existing team, but be accustomed to providing meticulous care for the horses at all times. This person must be well experienced in western riding principals, and have a gentle, horses-first mentality. 

There is a team of maintenance professionals who handle all facility upkeep, fence fixing, etc - and the cattle and donkeys are not the responsibility of the equine care team beyond basic oversight in the event of an emergency. This is truly a position centered around providing the best possible care for the 3 horses on-site for the duration of their lifetimes!

A minimum of a 12 month commitment is required in this position. (Though let's be real, this is the opportunity of a lifetime!!) 

Potential start date looking like Late-June/Early-July pending relocation of existing staff member

- Feed horses - 2x/day for gain and 4x/day for hay

- Bring horses to/from turnout

- Stall Cleaning Daily

- Check horses' feet before and after turnout and working

- Groom and provide care for horses, including daily use of therapeutic technologies 

- Exercise horses both in the arena and on the trails on schedule in collaboration with the Barn Manager, Trainer and Owner ~1hr per ride, 2 horses per day

- Monitor for any signs of illness, injury, or various other equine ailments - and treat accordingly

*Ability to perform night check duties for additional income is possible!

After years of maintaining a solo, global practice focusing on the highest levels of Equine Sports Medicine, this highly accomplished DVM (ISELP, cVSMT, DABVP +!)  is looking to bring on their first associate DVM in the SF Bay Area! Focused on an integrative and holistic approach to equine performance, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for an upcoming professional to work closely with one of the most brilliant minds of this generation of DVMs. The practice spans all of the major equestrian disciplines, working closely with local clinics and general practitioners to cover emergency needs and routine wellness care. 

Currently, this practice operates both Nationally and Internationally, with the goal of finding an Associate DVM who can service clients full-time both under the guidance of the primary DVM and independently. This practice utilizes holistic modalities such as chiropractic, acupuncture, myofascial release, kinesio taping, laser therapy and more, along with Western Medicine practices to approach soundness and performance from the biggest picture possible. Certification(s) in manual therapy, acupuncture, or ISELP would be a major plus, and experience as a competitive equestrian or racetrack veterinarian will be looked on favorably. This position comes with the ability to attend National and International caliber competition with clientele (having previously attended the 2024 Olympic Games as both private and National DVM!), and learn from one of the best in the business while growing a practice from the ground up!

We are anticipating this individual will ride along with the Primary DVM for the first year of employment while they are in the US for training and education purposes. Once appropriate (anticipating after first year) a secondary vehicle will be purchased and the Associate will be able to build additional clientele base. For the right individual, this role has the ability to grow into a Partnership after 3-5 years!

Note - We are aiming to have this position filled by Fall 2026, but could potentially begin someone sooner under the right circumstances.
